Becoming a mother forever changed my work as a photographer. I graduated with a BFA in photography from Brigham Young University, then worked for over 10 years doing post-production, studio and retail photography in NYC. But when I had children, I began shooting pictures primarily of them. I wanted to create images that reflected their individuality, their ever-changing expressions and their quirks…but I also wanted beautiful pictures to hang in my home. I wanted photographs that would be as stylish in 20 years as they were on the day I took them.
Documenting your child’s growth is a privilege! I feel lucky to spend my days capturing the smiles, smirks and squeals of childhood and look forward to working with your family!
